Welcome to my website!

I am a third-year PhD student in Political Science at Michigan State University specializing in comparative politics and methods. I am also a research fellow at the Institute for Public Policy and Social Research, an Editorial Assistant for the Journal of Politics, and a data consultant for the Democratic Erosion Consortium.

I study democratic backsliding, political violence, and authoritarian politics. My dissertation focuses on the causes and consequences of resistance to backsliding. It examines the nexus of domestic and international factors in shaping support for and the success of oppositions in backsliding democracies. My other projects examine the link between regime change and women’s representation, the role of parties in fomenting violence, and several data projects.

I was born and raised in Bangkok, Thailand, before spending a decade in Tel Aviv, Israel. I completed my B.A. and M.A. in Government (with a specialization in conflict studies) at Reichman University in Israel. I also received an M.A. in Political Science from Michigan State University in December 2023 and am working towards a certificate in Computational Modeling.

My work has been published in or is forthcoming in American Politics Research, Democratization, and the International Journal of Public Opinion Research (IJPOR), and has been featured in the LSE American Politics and Policy Blog.
